Chris Burdick - Gymnastics Director

 Chris has been coaching gymnastics and cheer for the past 15 years. He has coached many state, regional and national qualifiers as well as state and regional champions in gymnastics. Chris is a former collegiate cheer team members as well as a former National Cheerleading Association staff member.  In cheer Chris has coached many different levels from grade school cheer squads through college cheer teams. Many of his cheerleaders have went on to have successful collegiate careers at some of the top schools in the country. Chris is a professional member of USA Gymnastics and is safety certified.

 

Suzanne Ellis - Aquatics Director

  

My name is Suzanne Ellis and I am very excited to be your new swimming director, coach, and teacher. I have been a member here at the Clubs at River City for many years so you may have seen me around. I also teach RPM in the evenings.
I started swimming when I was 5 years old, but did not join swim team until I was 11. I swam competitively for the local YMCA in Elyria, Ohio where I was born and raised. Sprint freestyle events were my favorite. I graduated high school and went on the swim for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio for 4 years. The highlight of my career was swimming at Nationals against some the top swimmers in the word. Lesson learned: There is always someone stronger and faster!
I love to swim, but I love to teach it more. I look forward to meeting all you future swimmers of any age. You are never too old!
