At Fun-N-Fit Academy, the unique needs of every child are foremost in our minds as we plan educational programs that instill the importance of a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

Parent Conferences

Parent conferences are held twice a year.  The first conference is a goal setting conference where the teachers and the parents set up the classroom's and child's goals for the school year.  At the end of the school year, parents and teachers meet again to talk about the child's progress and go through the child's portfolio.

Curriculum

Teachers weekly plan classroom lessons based off of current events, the needs of the classroom, what is developmently appropriate, and parent goals.  Lesson plans are posted weekly outside the classroom as well as a summary sheet is sent home daily so parents know exactly what their chid is learning.

Children enjoy learning Spanish with MUZZY, the BBC Language Course for Children. MUZZY creates a total learning environment using a brilliant mix of multimedia, including DVDs, Audio CD and a CD-Rom. Combine this with the scientific fact that during childhood, the human brain is predisposed to learning language, and children can't help but succeed!

Muzzy is taught in the preschool classrooms on Tuesday and Thursday during group times.
